Megan Thee Stallion’s Lawyers Slam Tory Lanez for “Petty, Misogynistic Jabs” in Heated Deposition

The legal fire between Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez just got even hotter.

In a new filing submitted to a Florida federal court, Megan’s attorneys are calling out Tory—who’s currently serving time—for what they describe as a disruptive and sexist meltdown during a recent deposition.

And they’re not letting it slide.

    What Went Down?

According to the motion, Lanez (legal name: Daystar Peterson) took the deposition as a chance to mock opposing counsel’s physical appearance and hair color—an act Megan’s team calls “harassment masquerading as testimony.”

Worse? He allegedly acted clueless when asked straightforward questions, claiming not to understand basic words like:

    • “Meet”
    • “Discuss”
    • “Approve”

Megan’s lawyers say the performance wasn’t just shady—it was an outright attack on the legal process.

“This was not about answering questions,” the filing reads. “This was about undermining the process with targeted disrespect.”

⚖️ Sanctions, Special Masters & Legal Chess Moves

Megan’s team wants Lanez sanctioned for violating a court order to behave and respond seriously during legal proceedings. But Lanez’s attorneys are trying to flip the narrative—asking that Megan pay the costs of the deposition and pushing for a special master (a legal overseer) to supervise future questioning… at his expense.

If the court denies that? Megan’s side is demanding a prompt hearing to get things back on track.

The Bigger Case: Defamation, Digital Misinformation & Milagro Gramz

This drama is all tied to Megan’s ongoing defamation suit against YouTuber Milagro Gramz, who she says spread lies about her during the Tory Lanez trial. After failing to produce private messages and metadata, Gramz was recently ordered to cough up $5,000 in legal fees.

She’s now retained new legal representation, reportedly funded through a crowdfunding campaign launched by fans.

    Why This Matters

What started as a celebrity courtroom clash is now a litmus test for accountability in digital media—and a raw example of how misogyny, mockery, and misinformation still fuel headlines and courtrooms alike.

From YouTubers to rap stars, this case is shaping new conversations around:

    • Respect for women in the industry
    • Abuse of digital platforms
    • Celebrity responsibility and legal decorum

    TPR Takeaway

This isn’t just Megan vs. Tory anymore—it’s a war for truth, accountability, and how far people will go to spin a narrative.

And even with Lanez behind bars, the reckless energy is still spilling out.
