Clipse’s Comeback Tour Lights Up LA With Kendrick Lamar

After more than a decade away, Clipse has reclaimed their throne—and the energy around their return is nothing short of electric. The Virginia Beach brothers, Pusha T and Malice, kicked off their Let God Sort ’Em Out Tour this summer, their first full tour in 15 years, and fans have turned out in force to witness the revival.

The comeback tour, which closes November 15 in Los Angeles, follows the release of their brand-new album, cementing Clipse’s return to both the charts and the stage. For longtime fans, it feels less like a reunion and more like a coronation.

A Legendary LA Moment: Kendrick Lamar Joins Clipse Onstage

One of the most unforgettable moments of the tour came during their Los Angeles stop at The Novo. Halfway through their set, Clipse shocked the crowd by bringing out Kendrick Lamar.

The arena erupted as Kendrick launched into a fiery verse on Chains & Whips before stopping to salute the duo.

“This is our home city, it’s such a privilege to be in front of the motherf*cking legends, man,” Kendrick told the crowd, his words bouncing off the walls of a packed venue.

In a move that stunned fans even further, Kendrick slipped into the audience after his cameo, watching the rest of the show shoulder-to-shoulder with the crowd, as if he were just another fan soaking in the historic night.

    Bill Burr’s Cameo: “F*ckin’ Unbelievable”

The surprises didn’t stop with Kendrick. On August 23, comedian Bill Burr was spotted in the crowd. Later, on his Monday Morning Podcast, Burr described the show in only the way he could—unfiltered and full of awe.

“To The Novo. I smoked some weed and dude it was f*ckin’ unbelievable,” Burr said, comparing the sheer power of the performance to seeing a legendary rock concert.

For Burr, the night wasn’t just a hip-hop show; it was a cultural moment, one he said felt “once-in-a-lifetime.”

    Family First: A Poignant Tribute

While the celebrity cameos lit up the crowd, the brothers themselves delivered the night’s most heartfelt moment. During The Birds Don’t Sing, Pusha and Malice turned reflective, dedicating the song to their parents.

Burr later spoke about the performance, saying it was clear the brothers came from “standup folks,” highlighting the love and sincerity behind their tribute. It was a reminder that beyond the bravado and legacy of Clipse lies deep family roots and gratitude.

Comedian Bill Burr reviews the Clipse show in LA that he went to:

“It was fckng unbelievable…Kendrick Lamar came out…I thought the fckn roof was going to blow off the place” 😭

He also said his favorite part of the show was when they played ‘The Birds Don’t Sing’ pic.twitter.com/IKjmczNh36

    What’s Next for Clipse

The American leg of the Let God Sort ’Em Out Tour winds down September 10 in Detroit before Clipse heads overseas for a short European run in November. But their journey circles back to Los Angeles with a marquee performance at Tyler, the Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw Festival at Dodger Stadium.

From Kendrick Lamar’s surprise salute to Bill Burr’s unfiltered praise, the message is loud and clear: Clipse isn’t just back—they’re commanding the stage like never before.

Bottom Line: After 15 years away, Clipse is proving they never lost their crown. With star-studded cameos, raw emotion, and arena-filling energy, the brothers’ comeback is shaping up to be one of the defining music stories of 2025.
