Stefon Diggs Seeks to Pause Lawsuit Over Ferrari Theft Allegations as Legal Battle Continues
Stefon Diggs is asking a Florida court to temporarily halt a lawsuit filed by a former consultant who alleges the NFL star falsely accused him of stealing a Ferrari and that those accusations ultimately led to a violent confrontation.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Diggs has asked a judge to pause the case, arguing he cannot adequately defend himself until the remaining defendants named in the lawsuit have been formally served. The request marks the latest development in an ongoing legal dispute that has expanded beyond the original allegations.
The lawsuit remains active, and no court has ruled on the merits of the claims.
Former Consultant Details Ferrari Dispute
The lawsuit was filed in February by Nigel King, who says he previously worked as a concierge and consultant for Diggs.
According to the complaint, King handled a variety of personal matters for the NFL player, including travel arrangements, vehicle logistics and other services for high-net-worth clients.
King alleges that in July 2024, he coordinated the transportation of Diggs’ Ferrari from Miami to New York.
The lawsuit states that the vehicle was stolen during what King describes as a sophisticated theft carried out by third parties.
King further claims he was never charged, cited or identified as a suspect by law enforcement in connection with the theft.
Despite the incident, King says he continued communicating with Diggs both professionally and socially without any indication that their relationship had deteriorated.

Allegations of False Accusations
According to the lawsuit, the relationship changed several months later.
King alleges that beginning in December 2024, Diggs falsely told friends that King had stolen the Ferrari.
He claims those statements damaged his professional reputation and caused him to lose clients.
These allegations are contained in King’s complaint, and Diggs has not admitted to making the statements.
Alleged Assault Also Part of the Lawsuit
The complaint also includes allegations involving several encounters with people King says were associated with Diggs.
According to King, members of Diggs’ circle confronted him on multiple occasions.
The lawsuit specifically describes an alleged incident on December 4, 2025, at Tootsie’s Cabaret in Florida.
King alleges that one of Diggs’ friends punched him in the face, causing injuries that he says are permanent.
Those allegations have not been proven in court, and the lawsuit names Diggs, his brother Darez Diggs, and three other individuals as defendants.
Diggs Asked the Court to Pause the Case
In response to the lawsuit, Diggs asked the court to delay proceedings.
According to the filing, he argued that the claims could not be “fully and fairly evaluated” until the other named defendants had been served with court papers and were able to participate in the case.
King opposed that request.
TMZ reports that the remaining defendants were ultimately served last month, and the lawsuit is continuing.
No ruling on the underlying allegations has been issued.

Another Legal Dispute Is Also Ongoing
The Ferrari-related lawsuit is not the only legal matter involving Diggs.
As previously reported by TMZ, Diggs is also involved in separate litigation with Christopher Griffith.
According to TMZ, Diggs has alleged that Griffith made false accusations that he drugged and sexually assaulted him.
Griffith has filed a countersuit alleging that Diggs sexually assaulted him at Diggs’ home in 2023.
Diggs has denied those allegations.
The two legal disputes are separate cases involving different parties and different allegations.
Why the Case Matters
The latest filings underscore how civil litigation can become increasingly complex when multiple defendants and competing legal claims are involved.
At this stage, the Ferrari lawsuit remains in its early phases, with procedural issues still being addressed before the court reaches the substance of King’s allegations.
As the case moves forward, both sides are expected to continue presenting their arguments, and the court has not determined whether any of the allegations are valid.
What’s Next?
With all named defendants now reportedly served, attention is likely to shift from procedural disputes to the claims at the heart of the lawsuit.
For now, the allegations remain contested, and the court has yet to decide how the case will ultimately unfold.
