Stefon Diggs is responding to allegations made against him in an ongoing civil lawsuit, strongly denying claims brought by Christopher Griffith and calling the accusations against him false and defamatory.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the NFL star is challenging Griffith’s claims as the two sides continue their legal dispute, which involves separate lawsuits filed by both men.
Diggs’ legal team argues that Griffith’s allegations are unsupported and has asked the court to reject certain claims in the case.
The allegations remain disputed, and no court has made a finding regarding the claims.

Diggs Calls Claims “Completely False”
In new court filings, Diggs reportedly denies that he exposed himself or made unwanted sexual advances toward Griffith during an alleged encounter at Diggs’ Maryland home in May 2023.
Diggs described Griffith’s account as “completely false and defamatory,” according to the documents.
The dispute began after Diggs filed a lawsuit accusing Griffith of spreading what he says are false statements that damaged his reputation.
Griffith later filed a countersuit alleging that Diggs sexually assaulted him during their interaction.
Diggs denies those allegations.
What Griffith Alleged in His Lawsuit
According to Griffith’s lawsuit, he claims Diggs drugged him and attempted to initiate unwanted sexual contact during an encounter on May 22, 2023.
Griffith also alleges that Diggs later involved his brother, Darez Diggs, and two other men in an incident that he says was intended to intimidate him.
Those allegations are contained in Griffith’s court filings and have not been proven in court.
Diggs’ legal team has rejected Griffith’s version of events and maintains that the allegations are untrue.

Deposition Becomes Part of Legal Dispute
As part of his response, Diggs submitted portions of a deposition transcript involving Griffith.
According to the filing, Diggs’ attorneys highlighted testimony in which Griffith was questioned about statements regarding maintaining some form of relationship with Diggs after the alleged incident.
During the deposition, Griffith was asked why he would want to continue contact with someone he claimed had drugged him and attempted to take advantage of him.
Griffith responded that he did not believe the situation had to end that way and said he wanted Diggs to respect his personal boundaries.
Diggs’ attorneys argue that the testimony supports their position that Griffith’s claims are inconsistent.
Diggs Challenges Emotional Distress Claims
Diggs’ legal team is also challenging part of Griffith’s lawsuit involving alleged emotional distress.
According to the filing, his attorneys argue there is no evidence showing Griffith experienced the level of distress required for that claim and are asking the judge to dismiss that portion of the case.
The court has not issued a ruling on the request.
A Separate Legal Battle Continues
The lawsuit involving Griffith is one of multiple legal matters connected to Diggs.
The NFL player is also facing a separate lawsuit filed by Nigel King, a former consultant who alleges Diggs falsely accused him of stealing a Ferrari and that people associated with Diggs later assaulted him.
Diggs has disputed allegations in that case as well.

Why the Case Matters
Civil lawsuits involving public figures often involve competing accounts from both sides, with allegations and defenses presented through court filings before any final determination is made.
In this case, Diggs and Griffith have offered sharply different versions of their interactions, leaving the court to evaluate the evidence presented by both parties.
For now, the claims remain unresolved.
What’s Next?
As the legal process continues, both sides are expected to continue presenting arguments and evidence.
Stefon Diggs maintains that Griffith’s allegations are false, while Griffith stands by the claims made in his lawsuit. A court decision has not yet been reached.
