Tekashi 6ix9ine is already planning a celebration if Lil Durk is convicted in his federal murder-for-hire case.
The controversial rapper made the announcement during a livestream with DJ Akademiks, where he proposed throwing a “Lil Durk Going Away Party” if Durk is found guilty.
“When this n**** get found guilty, you coming to my party?” 6ix9ine asked Akademiks.
He then invited Akademiks to attend the proposed event.
The comments arrive as prosecutors continue presenting evidence in Durk’s federal trial in Los Angeles. Durk, whose legal name is Durk Banks, has pleaded not guilty and faces a potential life sentence if convicted.
6ix9ine’s remarks also come as his name surfaced during testimony from cooperating witness OTF Jam, whose legal name is Kacey Hester.
Hester testified about an alleged plot targeting rapper Quando Rondo and has been identified as one of three masked gunmen involved in a 2022 shooting at a West Hollywood gas station.
According to Hester’s testimony, Banks allegedly promised between $500,000 and $1 million for Rondo’s killing. Hester said the alleged offer arose during a meeting at an Atlanta recording studio and described the subsequent shooting as “sloppy.”
“I wasn’t feeling good about it at all,” Hester testified.
Rondo survived the shooting, but his 24-year-old cousin, Saviay’a Robinson, was killed.
Federal prosecutors allege the attack was retaliation for the 2020 death of King Von and claim Banks directed members of his Only The Family, or OTF, collective.
“This case is not about music — it’s about murder,” prosecutor Daniel Weiner told jurors.
Prosecutors further allege that Banks used his financial resources and influence within OTF to pressure members into pursuing the alleged retaliation.
Hester has acknowledged his decision to cooperate with prosecutors while describing his complicated feelings toward Banks.
“I had to get it off my chest. It was weighing on me,” Hester told jurors.
Despite testifying against Banks, Hester said he still has affection for the rapper, adding, “I still do have a lot of love for him.”
He also testified that he no longer respected Banks.
“I still got love for him, I just got no respect for him. He probably hate me now,” Hester said.
Meanwhile, 6ix9ine has made his position clear — at least publicly — before the jury has reached a verdict.
His proposed “going away party” remains hypothetical, since the federal case is still pending and Banks has pleaded not guilty.
For now, the courtroom — not 6ix9ine’s party plans — will determine what comes next for Lil Durk.
