Drake is switching up his signature style — and Pinkchyu appears to be the one behind the makeover.
The rapper embraces a full goth aesthetic in the “Princess” music video, which played during his “FOMO” stream Tuesday night.
And this is definitely not the usual Champagne Papi look.
Pinkchyu gives Drake a head-to-toe makeover before sending him out in an all-black fit complete with a spiked choker, baggy pants and boots.
The transformation doesn’t stop with the clothes.
The pair stroll hand-in-hand through a mall after visiting Hot Topic, later taking their goth-inspired outing to a park before attending an intimate Medieval Times show.
Drake appears fully committed to the new aesthetic throughout the video.
Pinkchyu has been pulling Drake further into her world for weeks.
Last month, she won Drake’s viral dating challenge, during which she even got the rapper to bark.
She later said Drake was following through on his promise to buy her mother a house.
The pair subsequently reunited in Toronto, where Drake reportedly rented out Casa Loma for a private date featuring sushi, drinks and time largely alone inside the historic castle.
Now, Pinkchyu has apparently taken things one step further — by getting Drake to dress the part.
For a rapper known for frequently changing up his fashion, the goth makeover is certainly one of his more unexpected style pivots.
