Star Wars fans, get ready to fork out some serious cash for an iconic piece of history. A lightsaber used by Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill, in The Mandalorian, is hitting the auction block. GWS Auction is offering the stunt lightsaber used during the show’s episodes, with the bidding starting at a hefty $25,000.

The lightsaber up for grabs is one of two versions used on set: the “hero” lightsaber, which was used for close-up shots, and the “stunt” lightsaber, used for action sequences. This particular one is the stunt version, which saw Luke battle through a series of enemies aboard a battleship.

For those who need a refresher, Hamill’s appearance in The Mandalorian was a pivotal moment for Star Wars fans, featuring cutting-edge CGI technology to blend his performance with a body double in one action-packed scene.

The saber is displayed in a custom-designed, museum-quality display that pays tribute to the vintage Star Wars aesthetic while ensuring it remains in pristine condition. With the auction going live on March 22, potential buyers should be prepared to bid in increments of $2,000, meaning the final price could soar well beyond the starting bid.

So, if you’ve ever dreamed of owning a piece of Star Wars history, now’s your chance. May the Force be with you—and happy bidding!
