Will Smith Addresses Viral Memes Linking Him to Diddy’s Controversial Parties

Will Smith isn’t here for the rumors. During a recent show in San Diego on Friday, December 13, the Independence Day star took a moment to address online memes connecting him to Sean “Diddy” Combs’ alleged “freak-off” parties. According to TMZ, Smith made it clear he has no ties to the disgraced music mogul or his rumored escapades.

“I don’t have sht to do with Puffy, so y’all can stop all the memes,” Smith told the audience, visibly frustrated by the speculation. He continued, “Y’all could stop with all of that bullsht.”

Smith also firmly denied any involvement in the alleged events, which reportedly involved drug-filled orgies. “Listen, I do enough of my own sht. Don’t be putting me in other people’s bullsht. I ain’t been nowhere near that man, I ain’t did none of that stupid sh*t!” he exclaimed. Adding a touch of humor, Smith joked, “So whatever y’all hearing, if somebody [says] that, it’s a damn lie… I don’t even like baby oil.”

Bel-Air Approaching Final Season

In other news, Will Smith’s acclaimed Bel-Air series is gearing up for its fourth and final season on Peacock. The reimagined drama, based on the beloved 90s sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, premiered on February 13, 2022, and has since become a fan favorite, praised for its fresh take and deeper narrative.

The series stars Jabari Banks as Will, alongside Adrian Holmes, Cassandra Freeman, Coco Jones, Olly Sholotan, Akira Akbar, Jimmy Akingbola, Jordan L. Jones, and Simone Joy Jones. A breakout hit, Bel-Air originated from a four-minute spec trailer created by writer and director Morgan Cooper, which went viral in 2019, amassing over 7.7 million views on YouTube.

In an interview with HOT97, Jimmy Akingbola, who plays Geoffrey, reflected on the show’s impact. “All the comments that I received, I just thank you all from my heart. It’s humbling. It also makes me tear up sometimes because I’m a fan of the original show, and those moments remind me that I’m in the show. I don’t take it for granted because this is a special show,” Akingbola said. He added with a laugh, “A lot of people were worried that we were going to mess it up.”
