The tragic death of Duke Gadd, son of legendary drummer Steve Gadd, has been officially confirmed to be caused by a fentanyl and cocaine overdose. The Clark County, Nevada coroner revealed that the 41-year-old musician died from the combined toxic effects of fentanyl and cocaine, with additional contributing factors of high blood pressure.

Corey Feldman’s Initial Announcement and Backlash

Corey Feldman, who had been close to Gadd, was the first to announce the tragic news of the drummer’s death. He shared a heartfelt post on social media, accompanied by a video of Duke playing the drums, and attributed the cause of death to a fentanyl overdose.

However, Gadd’s family quickly disputed the claim. His mother, Carol Gadd, expressed her frustration with Feldman, sarcastically referring to him as “Dr. Corey.” At that time, the family had not yet received official confirmation from the coroner and mentioned hearing initial reports of a possible heart attack. While they acknowledged that drugs may have played a role, no specific mention of fentanyl was made at the time.

    Feldman Removes Post After Backlash

Following the backlash from Gadd’s family, Corey Feldman took down his Instagram post. It appears he recognized that he may have jumped to conclusions before the official cause of death was confirmed.

    A Legacy Remembered

Duke Gadd, who was known for his drumming talent, was part of the music world, following in the footsteps of his famous father. His untimely passing at the age of 41 has left many fans and family members grieving. He is remembered fondly for his contributions to the music industry and his passionate love for drumming.

    Rest in peace, Duke Gadd.
