Young Buck, the G-Unit rapper known for his turbulent legal history, is once again behind bars. On Monday, April 7, the rapper was booked into a Tennessee jail for failing to meet bond conditions. According to Sumner County records, Buck has been sentenced to 30 days in jail for missing meetings with his bond supervisor.

    Details of the Violation

Eric Mauldin, the Assistant District Attorney for Sumner County, confirmed to TMZ that Young Buck was required to meet with his bond supervisor twice a month while under GPS monitoring. These check-ins were a part of his bond conditions, stemming from two cases involving drug-related offenses and domestic violence charges.

Because Buck missed several scheduled meetings, the D.A. filed a motion, resulting in a hearing on April 7. During the hearing, the judge decided that Buck would serve a 30-day sentence in county jail. A subsequent hearing will take place to reconsider his bond status and determine whether any future bond should be set.

Young Buck’s History with the Law

This is not the first time Young Buck has faced legal troubles. The rapper was arrested in February 2022 in Nashville on a vandalism charge after allegedly damaging his girlfriend’s car. Additionally, in August 2016, Young Buck spent a weekend in federal lockup after violating his probation. In that instance, he was arrested following allegations that he threatened to burn down his ex-girlfriend’s apartment.

In 2012, Young Buck was sentenced to 18 months in federal prison for gun possession. He served his time at Yazoo City Medium Security Federal Prison in Southern Mississippi.

As of now, Young Buck remains in custody, with further hearings to be scheduled for his bond review.
