Sada Baby Speaks Out After Drug Arrest: Claims He’s Being Targeted, Denies Possession Charges

Detroit rapper Sada Baby is speaking out following his recent arrest for alleged drug possession, insisting the case against him is part of a larger effort to target and harass him. The rapper, known for his energetic style and flamboyant personality, was taken into custody earlier this week on charges of possessing less than 25 grams of a controlled substance, reportedly narcotics or cocaine, according to FOX 2 Detroit.

Arrest Linked to Earlier Traffic Stop

The charge reportedly stems from a traffic stop earlier this year, during which Sada Baby was pulled over for allegedly driving without a license. During that stop, police claim they discovered a suspicious substance that later tested positive for illegal drugs.

Just weeks prior, Sada Baby had pleaded guilty to failure to display a valid license in court. Although he was initially held without bail in Macomb County Jail, the rapper was released shortly after the new arrest.

    Viral Mugshot and Merch Drop

Photos from his arrest, particularly a mugshot showing the rapper grinning widely, went viral on social media. Never one to shy away from attention, Sada Baby capitalized on the moment by turning the mugshot into merchandise, further fueling online conversations.

Despite the humor in his mugshot, the rapper made it clear there’s a serious issue behind the scenes.

“I appreciate all the energy, good and bad,” he wrote on Instagram.
“Just know I’m being targeted. They literally recharged me with a case I just went to court for on the 28th and beat. Put an entry warrant out eight days later, arrested me in front of my house, and still took my truck while it was parked at my dwelling.”

    Sada Baby Denies Drug Possession

He also directly addressed the drug-related accusations:

“Never had 25 g of anything and if I did, I’d still be in jail,” he declared.

When fans asked about the smile in his viral mugshot, Sada Baby offered a spiritual reason for his confidence:

“I made that face for my mugshot because I knew God for a fact was bringing me home by the next day with no delays.”

    Maintaining Innocence Amid Legal Drama

Despite the legal battle, Sada Baby is doubling down on his innocence and continues to approach the situation with his trademark boldness and confidence. His legal team has not released a public statement, but the rapper’s own comments make it clear he intends to fight the charges.

As the case unfolds, fans and followers will be watching closely to see whether this is a misunderstanding or a deeper issue of profiling and legal overreach.
