    Diddy’s Sex Trafficking Trial Jury Won’t Be Sequestered — Unlike O.J. Simpson’s

Diddy’s highly publicized sex trafficking trial is set to begin in New York City, but unlike the infamous O.J. Simpson trial, the jury won’t be locked away from the world. TMZ has learned that there are currently no plans to sequester jurors, despite the intense media attention surrounding the case.

According to the jury questionnaire obtained by TMZ, potential jurors are told explicitly, “There are no plans to sequester the jury, which means you will go home every day after court.” This means jurors will be allowed to return to their homes daily — a major shift from the O.J. Simpson trial, where the jury was sequestered for an unprecedented nine months due to overwhelming media coverage.

Diddy vs. O.J.: Different Eras, Different Approaches

Both Diddy and O.J. are iconic figures with massive public profiles and controversial legal battles, but the approach to managing juror influence appears to have shifted over time. The Simpson trial set a precedent for strict jury isolation to avoid media interference, while Diddy’s trial is opting for more leniency — at least for now.

Still, jurors are being sternly warned to avoid media content about the case. The questionnaire instructs them not to follow news updates, browse social media, or discuss the trial with anyone — including friends, family, or coworkers — until the case concludes.

Opening Arguments Set for Next Week

Jury selection begins Monday, and opening arguments are scheduled for the following Monday. TMZ will be closely covering the entire trial as it unfolds, providing in-depth updates and exclusive details throughout.

While Diddy’s trial may not involve sequestered jurors like O.J.’s did, the courtroom drama is likely to be just as intense — and the eyes of the public are watching closely. Stay tuned for more coverage as the case progresses.
