Drake has officially entered an unprecedented league of his own. On Wednesday, May 28th, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) confirmed that the Toronto superstar has earned his 10th Diamond certification — a record-breaking achievement unmatched by any other artist in history.

    A Legendary Milestone for Drake

The RIAA announced Drake’s landmark achievement on social media, showcasing a graphic featuring all 10 of his Diamond plaques. Among the latest additions to his elite collection are fan favorites “Hold On, We’re Going Home” and his breakthrough hit “Best I Ever Had.” Both tracks have now surpassed 10 million units sold in the United States alone.

Drake’s Diamond-certified catalog is packed with chart-topping hits, including “God’s Plan,” “Hotline Bling,” “One Dance,” “Life Is Good” featuring Future, “No Guidance” with Chris Brown, “Love Me” alongside Lil Wayne, and Travis Scott’s “SICKO MODE.” He’s far from finished—“Nice for What” from his 2018 album Scorpion is currently 9x Platinum and edging closer to Diamond status.

    Outpacing Industry Icons

This milestone puts Drake ahead of legendary country artist Garth Brooks and contemporary star Post Malone, who each hold nine Diamond certifications. Drake stands as the first artist ever to reach double digits in Diamond awards for both singles and albums, underscoring his extraordinary impact on music.

Fans flooded the comments with praise, celebrating the rapper’s historic feat. One fan wrote, “You just simply can’t say anything bad about this lol. N—s staring greatness in the face.” Another joked, “Looks like the 20v1 didn’t work out!” referencing Drake’s recent rap battles.

    What’s Next for Drizzy?

Beyond these certifications, Drake remains as active as ever in the music scene. Earlier this year, he released the collaborative project $ome $exy $ongs 4 U with PARTYNEXTDOOR. Looking ahead, Drake is set to headline all three nights of London’s Wireless Festival this July and is teasing the highly anticipated return of OVO Fest in his hometown of Toronto.

With a career that continues to break boundaries, Drake’s 10th Diamond certification is just another chapter in his enduring legacy.
