Nick Cannon Admits He Can’t Name All His 12 Kids — “This Is Where I Get in Trouble”

Nick Cannon is finally admitting what we’ve all suspected — even he can’t keep track of all his kids.

The media mogul, who famously fathered 12 children with multiple women, opened up about his unorthodox parenting journey during a candid interview on Bobbi Althoff’s “The Really Good Podcast.” The segment instantly went viral after Cannon confessed that he sometimes forgets the names of his own kids — and even needs a custom rap verse to remember them all.

“This is where I usually get in trouble,” Cannon said with a laugh. “I know all of them… but can you rattle off just 12 of anything?”

Cannon’s Wild Reason for Having 12 Kids

When asked point-blank why he has so many children, the 43-year-old didn’t shy away from an answer that left fans stunned.

“I have a king complex,” Cannon explained, comparing himself to King Solomon from the Bible — a figure known for his wisdom and his 700 wives and 300 concubines.

“I don’t want no wives,” he clarified. “I just want kids.”

And kids he has — a dozen to be exact, with six different women.

His “Surround Sound” Daughter and Forgetful Moment

During the sit-down, Cannon got real about each of his children’s personalities. He described Beautiful Zeppelin Cannon, his 2-year-old daughter with Abby De La Rosa, as a powerhouse:

    “She cries in surround sound.”

But things got awkward when Althoff asked if he could name all 12 of his children.

    Cannon hesitated.

“You want all 12?” he said. “This is where I usually get in trouble…”

    He attempted the list on-air:

“There’s Roc, Roe, Golden, Powerful, Rise, Onyx, Legendary, Zion, Zillion, Zen, and…”
    Cue the pause.
“And see, this is where I, uh…”

He eventually realized he had forgotten two names — finally adding Beautiful and his youngest, Halo Marie Cannon, to complete the list.

Yes, He Wrote a Rap Verse to Remember Them

In one of the most surprising moments of the interview, Cannon revealed that he has a secret verse that helps him remember all his kids’ names.

“There’s a song… I wrote a verse that had all their names in it,” he said. “Sometimes I recite that.”

When Althoff asked him to rap it, he declined — but joked that the clip would “probably go viral.”

    Let’s be honest: he’s right.

    A Breakdown of Nick Cannon’s 12 Children

Here’s a quick refresher on the ever-growing Cannon family tree:

    ???? With Mariah Carey:

    • Moroccan and Monroe (twins)

    ???? With Brittany Bell:

    • Golden Sagon
    • Powerful Queen
    • Rise Messiah

???? With Abby De La Rosa:

    • Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir (twins)
    • Beautiful Zeppelin

    • Onyx Ice Cole

    ????️ With Alyssa Scott:

    • Halo Marie Cannon (born Dec. 14, 2022)

What’s Next for Cannon’s Growing Legacy?

While Cannon didn’t confirm if more kids are on the way, he left the door wide open:

“I don’t know what God and the universe have in store for me.”

The Wild ‘N Out host seems unbothered by the chaos that comes with his expanding family, though fans continue to question how involved he can be in each child’s life.

Fans React: “He Needs a Spreadsheet”

The internet didn’t hold back. Social media exploded with memes, tweets, and hot takes:

    • “Nick Cannon needs a spreadsheet to keep track of his kids.”
    • “A whole rap verse?? At least he’s trying, I guess…”
    • “This man really said he has a ‘king complex’ and I’m still recovering from that.”

The Takeaway: A Father’s Confession or Comedic Gold?

Whether you view Nick Cannon as a devoted dad juggling an unconventional setup or a man creating viral moments out of fatherhood, one thing is certain: he owns his narrative.

In a media world where image is everything, Cannon continues to live boldly — with 12 kids, a rap verse, and a whole lot of unapologetic honesty.

What’s your take? Should Cannon be praised for being present or called out for spreading himself too thin?
