Chichi’s Close Call with Danger
Former Big Brother Naija housemate Chichi, whose full name is Chinenyenwa Desire Okoebor, recently shared a heartfelt message of gratitude to God after narrowly escaping a dangerous incident at home.
The reality star revealed on her Instagram story that the POP (Plaster of Paris) ceiling in her bedroom unexpectedly collapsed just days before her birthday. Chichi attributed her safety to divine intervention, saying, “The devil tried to steal my joy before my birthday, but the Lord said hold my cup.”
Soma Denies Abuse Allegations
In another BBNaija-related development, former housemate Somadina Anyama (Soma) has publicly denied allegations of physical abuse made by his ex-girlfriend, Hilda Dirisu.
Hilda had accused Soma on social media of drugging, assaulting, and intimidating her during their relationship, even claiming he damaged her phone and tied her up. Soma addressed these claims in a statement on Instagram, strongly refuting them as false and baseless.
“I want to clearly state that the accusations being made against me are false. I have never drugged, assaulted, or harmed anyone,” Soma wrote. “These allegations are contrary to my values and the person I strive to be.”
He acknowledged that their relationship had ups and downs but emphasized that it ended without malice. Soma expressed his hope for peace and happiness for both of them as they move on with their lives.
