Drake’s team is shutting down online rumors claiming the rapper is the father of Keshia Chanté’s unborn baby.
The speculation erupted shortly after Chanté publicly announced her pregnancy Tuesday, with social media users quickly connecting her mystery baby daddy to Drake because of the pair’s history.
Drake’s representative, Melissa Nathan, addressed the rumors in a statement to TMZ, saying the claims are “inaccurate” and can be “completely and unequivocally” denied.
Chanté revealed her pregnancy in an interview with Hello! magazine, where she shared maternity photos and announced that she is expecting a baby boy. While the singer expressed excitement about the new chapter for “Mommy & Daddy,” she did not publicly identify the father.
That omission sent social media into speculation mode, with Drake’s name quickly becoming part of the conversation.
The Drake connection goes back years. The Toronto natives dated as teenagers, and Drake has previously described Chanté as his first girlfriend. The two have remained friends since their relationship ended and have occasionally appeared in each other’s social media posts.

That history appears to have helped fuel the latest rumors, but there is no confirmation from Chanté identifying Drake as the father.
Drake has previously been at the center of a very different public paternity story. He confirmed that he had a son, Adonis, with Sophie Brussaux on his 2018 album Scorpion, following months of public speculation surrounding the child.
This time, however, Drake’s camp says the situation is not what social media is making it out to be.
Chanté has not publicly identified her child’s father or directly addressed the speculation linking Drake to her pregnancy.
For now, the only confirmed details are that Chanté is expecting a baby boy and that Drake’s representative has firmly denied claims that he is the father.
