NBA YoungBoy Returns to the Road With First Tour Since 2020

The wait is officially over for NBA YoungBoy fans.

NBA YoungBoy, whose real stage name is YoungBoy Never Broke Again, is returning to the road for the first time since 2020 with his upcoming “MASA Tour,” short for “Make America Slime Again.”

The rapper is set to headline 31 arena shows across North America, marking a major return to live performances after years away from touring.

The tour will bring the Baton Rouge, Louisiana native to major markets, including stops in New York and New Jersey, where he is scheduled to perform at Barclays Center on September 27 and Prudential Center on September 29.

NBA YoungBoy’s Long-Awaited Return to the Stage

NBA YoungBoy’s return comes after a career path that has been anything but traditional.

He first gained major attention with his 2016 breakthrough mixtape 38 Baby, which he recorded at just 16 years old.

Since then, he has built one of the most dedicated fan bases in modern hip hop, releasing multiple projects, including 21 mixtapes, seven studio albums, and three EPs throughout his career.

His catalog includes popular tracks such as “Bandit,” “Make No Sense,” and “WusYaName,” helping establish him as one of rap’s most streamed artists.

A Career Filled With Highs and Challenges

YoungBoy’s rise has happened alongside major personal and legal challenges.

Over the years, he has publicly discussed struggles connected to his legal situation and uncertainty about his future.

In a January 2024 interview with Bootleg Kev, the rapper spoke about his mindset at the time.

“I’m kinda set on going to jail right now,” YoungBoy said during the interview, explaining how he viewed his circumstances.

The upcoming tour represents a different moment for the artist, giving fans the opportunity to see him perform live again after a long break.

    MASA Tour Dates and Cities

The “Make America Slime Again” Tour is scheduled to travel across the United States with stops in cities including Dallas, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, Miami, New Orleans, and more.

The tour begins September 2 at American Airlines Center and wraps up October 22 at Legacy Arena at The BJCC.

The New York area dates are expected to be among the major stops, with fans in the region preparing for his return to arena stages.

Ticket prices vary depending on location and availability, with reported prices ranging from around $89 to more than $200 including fees at the time of reporting.

    New Music Before the Tour

Ahead of the tour, NBA YoungBoy also continued building his music catalog.

On March 7, he released his third compilation album, More Leaks.

The project features 20 tracks and adds another release to a discography that has helped him maintain a strong connection with fans.

The album arrived as anticipation grew around his eventual return to performing.

Why Fans Are Watching This Tour Closely

NBA YoungBoy has developed a unique relationship with his audience, with fans often following both his music releases and personal journey.

His return to touring is significant because live performances allow artists to reconnect directly with supporters after long breaks.

For a rapper known for frequent releases and a highly loyal fan base, the MASA Tour represents a major opportunity to bring that energy back to arenas.

    A Major Comeback Moment

After years away from touring, NBA YoungBoy is preparing to step back into the spotlight with one of his biggest live runs yet.

The “Make America Slime Again” Tour will give fans a chance to experience his music on stage while opening a new chapter in his career.

The question now is how much impact his return will have when he brings his arena show back to fans across North America.
