The parents of Nevaeh’s ex, DJ LetThemKnow, are publicly asking to see their grandson Superior, as tensions continue between the child’s parents.
DJ’s mother and father spoke out on social media, describing it as “ridiculous” that they have not been able to see Superior.
DJ’s father directly questioned why the family was being kept away from the child.
“Why keep Superior away from DJ and us? We all love Superior … it’s sad that she’s being like this,” he said.
The family’s comments come amid an ongoing custody dispute between Nevaeh and DJ, who have publicly addressed their disagreements over Superior on social media.
Tensions between the former couple escalated in August after Superior reportedly called his mother while she was out with Blueface and said that DJ had choked him.
DJ has denied hurting his son.
According to DJ, the incident happened while he and Superior were “rough housing.” He said, “I never hurt my kid or grabbed him or choked him.”
The allegation remains disputed, with DJ denying that he choked or otherwise hurt the child.
The family dispute comes during a particularly turbulent period for Nevaeh. Earlier this month, she and rapper Blueface split just weeks after welcoming their child together.
Blueface announced the breakup during a livestream, adding another layer of public attention to Nevaeh’s already complicated family situation.
Meanwhile, DJ’s parents are making their position clear: they want to maintain a relationship with their grandson.
