Porn star LuLu LoveBottom has died at 31 in an apparent suicide at his Los Angeles-area home, TMZ reports.
Law enforcement sources say a call came in for an apparent suicide Monday morning at the home where LoveBottom, whose real name was Lucas Drake, was living.
A Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson tells TMZ the department received a medical call involving an adult male. An engine and rescue units were dispatched, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene and was not transported to a hospital.
The Los Angeles Police Department is handling the death investigation.
LoveBottom’s death was first reported after he was found dead at his home Monday. His final Instagram post has since taken on added significance, with the message reading, “I love you and I’m sorry I was unable to make it to the end. GOODBYE FOREVER. Love, LuLu.”
His roommate, Michael, also addressed the death in an Instagram comment, saying Lucas “passed away in his room in our home.”
Michael invited LoveBottom’s friends and family to a backyard gathering Saturday to celebrate his life.
The adult entertainment performer had been open with his followers on social media, where he shared glimpses of his life and career.
LoveBottom’s death remains under investigation by the LAPD.
