Trippie Redd’s South Florida property was searched by police Tuesday, but authorities have not said whether the rapper is connected to the investigation behind the search warrant.
A spokesperson for the Davie Police Department told TMZ that officers were at the rapper’s property assisting with the execution of a search warrant.
The circumstances surrounding the warrant remain unclear.

Davie police have not indicated whether the warrant was specifically connected to Trippie Redd, whose legal name is Michael Lamar White IV, or what investigators were looking for at the property.
The City of Miami Police Department is leading the investigation, according to TMZ.
That distinction is significant because the presence of police at Trippie’s property does not, by itself, establish that he is a suspect, target or subject of the investigation.
Miami police had not provided additional information in the supplied report, while representatives for Trippie had not responded to requests for comment.
The search also comes with Trippie having a history of previous legal trouble.
In 2018, the rapper was arrested twice in Atlanta in separate alleged assault cases. He later reached a plea deal in one case, while prosecutors ultimately declined to pursue the other.

Those previous cases, however, do not establish any connection to Tuesday’s search.
For now, the biggest unanswered questions are what investigators were looking for, why the warrant was served at Trippie’s property and whether the rapper has any involvement in the case.
With Miami police leading the investigation and additional details still unavailable, the situation remains developing.
Story developing.
