50 Cent appeared in court virtually on Tuesday as his legal dispute with Tia Kemp, the mother of one of Rick Ross’ children, moved to a hearing over an injunction he is seeking against her.
The rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, filed the injunction request over social media comments he alleges Kemp has made about his 14-year-old son, Sire Jackson.
However, the hearing reportedly made little progress after Kemp failed to appear. According to TMZ’s court report, she had not yet been formally served with the injunction documents, meaning the court could not proceed with the request for a permanent injunction.
During the hearing, 50 Cent’s legal team reportedly argued that Kemp was deliberately avoiding service. That remains an allegation made by his side of the case.

50 Cent also briefly addressed the judge, indicating that he was not particularly interested in continuing the legal matter but felt he had little choice under the circumstances.
The dispute stems from allegations that Kemp made comments about Sire on social media, including allegedly calling the teenager “slow” and claiming he is on the autism spectrum.
Those statements are part of the allegations raised by 50 Cent in his legal filing. They should not be treated as established facts about his son.
The rapper’s request seeks to stop Kemp from making further comments about the teenager. The latest hearing, however, did not resolve the matter because the service issue remained outstanding.
Kemp’s absence also meant that the court did not hear her response during Tuesday’s proceedings, based on the report provided.
The next hearing has been scheduled for December 7, when the case is expected to return to court.
For now, 50 Cent’s attempt to obtain a permanent injunction remains unresolved as the legal process continues.
