Renowned Ugandan radio veteran, emcee, and businesswoman Flavia Tumusiime has left fans in shock after revealing a hidden chapter of her past—she once recorded a rap song and music video at the age of 16.

    Flavia Tumusiime’s Embarrassing Music Past

In what she describes as one of her most embarrassing moments, Tumusiime admitted that she once ventured into rap music, something she had kept under wraps for years. The revelation came during a recent vlog, where the former Capital FM host reflected on her teenage years.

“I think I was 16 years old; we were on a work project in Germany. At the time, I was a TV presenter, and we were asked to do a song that could put out the message of what we were doing,” she explained.

She eagerly volunteered to write lyrics for a rap song, believing that it was the best way to convey the project’s message. However, after the song was released, she instantly regretted it and has since wished that it never resurfaces.

“You will never find it! You do your research. If you find it, I will know that you are the FBI!” she joked, pleading with fans not to dig up her teenage rap career.

    A Hidden Love for Hip-Hop

The 36-year-old media personality also disclosed her deep love for hip-hop, a fact she says only her most dedicated fans would know.

“Surprisingly, people do not know that I love hip-hop,” she said.

“That is something that only a few people know about me, and you have to be an ‘original’ fan to know that about me.”

Tumusiime confessed that her music taste often surprises people, as many assume she leans towards RnB or Jazz. However, she proudly declared herself a hip-hop fan through and through, even revealing her favorite track: Jockin’ by Jay-Z.

Flavia Tumusiime’s Evolution from TV to Business

Tumusiime, who left Capital FM in 2023, has since transitioned into entrepreneurship and content creation, sharing insights into her life, career, and personal experiences through vlogs and social media.

Her latest revelation has ignited curiosity among fans, many of whom are now determined to track down her teenage rap song.

Will Fans Ever Find the Lost Rap Video?

With social media detectives already on the hunt, the question remains: Will Flavia’s teenage rap song ever resurface? Until then, the former TV presenter can only hope that her hip-hop past remains buried.
