Atlanta is honoring the life and legacy of Rich Homie Quan with a new immersive exhibit at the Trap Music Museum, celebrating the rapper’s career, influence, and lasting imprint on the city’s iconic sound.

Unveiled during the first week of October, the installation guides fans through Quan’s rise in Atlanta’s trap scene, highlighting his hits, cultural impact, and enduring influence on music and the city he helped define.

    A Father’s Tribute

Quan’s family attended the opening, where his father, Corey Lamar, shared heartfelt reflections with WGXA News:

“I’m ecstatic, sad that it has to be this way, but grateful for him to be acknowledged. Not only my son, but my best friend — not only my best friend, but my business partner. We had a great relationship, father and son. Quan didn’t make moves without me, and I didn’t make moves without him.”

The emotional remarks underscore the depth of their bond and highlight Quan’s role not just as an artist, but as a family man and business partner.

An Immersive Celebration of a Trap Legend

Local media visiting the museum describe an immersive experience that captures the full spectrum of Quan’s career. Fans can explore:

    • Career highlights and milestone performances
    • Personal memorabilia and iconic visuals
    • Era-defining contributions to Atlanta trap music

The exhibit is designed to remind visitors why Rich Homie Quan remains a pillar of the city’s musical landscape, bridging generations of fans through his artistry.

Marking a Year Since His Passing

The tribute comes roughly one year after Quan’s untimely passing at age 34. Since then, Atlanta has continued to honor him through formal proclamations, community events, and tributes, while his team has worked to spotlight his catalog for both longtime supporters and new listeners.

The Trap Music Museum’s exhibit not only celebrates Quan’s legacy, but also ensures that his influence on trap culture and Atlanta’s music scene continues to resonate with fans worldwide.
