Ugandan rappers Fik Fameica and Mozelo Kidz have revealed that their solid friendship is built on mutual respect and clear boundaries. The duo has maintained a strong bond over the years, making them one of the most recognized friendships in Uganda’s music industry.

The two rappers first met in 2015 at JahLive Studios in Makindye, where their connection was instant. Despite Fik Fameica having already kick-started his music career by then, he was drawn to Mozelo Kidz as a friend even before he began his own journey in music.
“We met around 2015. I had started my career before meeting him. I just liked him as my friend before he even started his own music career,” Fik Fameica recalls.

“I think having someone that is good to you makes friendship easy. He can testify, he’s one of my good friends who can tell you how good I am, and I can also tell you how good he is.”
