Kanye West Offers Kodak Black Support After Viral Video of Him Eating Chicken in the Street

Kanye West is extending his support to Kodak Black after a viral video surfaced showing the rapper sitting on the street eating chicken. In a heartfelt message shared online, Ye reflected on his own personal journey while offering empathy and understanding to Kodak.

In the video, Kanye states, “I know y’all think I’m going through something right now… But, I just saw a video of Kodak,” explaining that while people might assume he is in distress, he is actually in a positive space. “I wouldn’t want nobody to do an intervention on me, that’s why I wanted to put this video up,” Kanye continued. “You might think, ‘Ye is really going through it right now, somebody needs to go get him.’ But I am telling you calmly that I am in a good space. I’m really in a positive space, it’s cathartic. I got my ideas out—that’s all that happened and that was very freeing for me and it’s worth everything to do that.”

Kanye and Kodak Black have a history of collaboration, with Ye previously referring to Kodak as his “brother” in a song they worked on together. Kanye revealed that he felt a calling to help Kodak during this time. “I thought, ‘Man, I should go down to Miami and maybe I could be the person that makes the difference,’” Kanye said. “And that’s what I’m about to do right now.”

Kodak Black responded to Kanye’s comments, acknowledging his support. In a clip circulating online, Kodak expressed his admiration for Kanye, stating, “I fck with Ye, Kanye a real one.” Kodak explained his respect for Kanye, saying, “Kanye the only n**a still fck with Diddy, ‘cause he know he ain’t gay… Why I fck with Kanye? ‘Cause he know what it feel like, people be on bullsh*t.”

Kodak also touched on Kanye’s recent actions, acknowledging how the rapper’s authenticity resonates with him. “I’m pretty sure the feds ‘gon probably like seize all that boy accounts,” Kodak continued, appreciating Kanye’s genuine support. “Kanye just did some real sh*t. You know what, I’ma do a collab with you, so bro can get some money and shit still.”
