Clayton Howard is adding new photos to his lawsuit against Diddy and Cassie, arguing the images could help support his allegations against the former couple.
Howard, a former male escort who later became a law student and testified during Diddy’s federal criminal trial, filed an amended complaint with several photographs attached as he attempts to keep his civil case alive.
The lawsuit alleges Howard was hired to have sex with Cassie in hotel rooms while Diddy was present. He is seeking tens of millions of dollars in damages and claims the alleged conduct was part of a broader “course of systemic sexual exploitation and trafficking” between 2009 and 2019.
One of the newly submitted images is dated December 16, 2016, and appears to show a view from an airplane seat.
During Diddy’s criminal trial, prosecutors presented evidence about his practice of arranging for male escorts to travel to different locations for sexual encounters involving Cassie. Howard appears to be pointing to the plane photo as evidence connected to those allegations.
Another photograph appears to show the interior of a luxury hotel room in Miami Beach. The image is dated December 18, 2016, and shows personal belongings on a bed.
A third image appears to show a hotel hallway in Miami.
Howard says the photographs help establish that he was transported and housed for the encounters described in his lawsuit. The images themselves, however, do not independently establish the allegations he makes in the complaint.
Diddy and Cassie have denied the allegations of wrongdoing.
Cassie previously argued against Howard’s claims, pointing to a text message she says he sent after she publicly came forward with allegations against Diddy. She claims Howard was initially supportive but changed his position after learning that she had reached a settlement with Diddy.
The case has already taken a significant turn.
A judge previously dismissed all claims against Cassie but gave Howard an opportunity to amend his complaint in an effort to revive part of his case.
Cassie subsequently urged the court to dismiss the case, arguing Howard had been given sufficient opportunity to present viable claims.
Now, Howard is betting that the new photographs can help keep his lawsuit moving forward.
Whether the images will ultimately strengthen his case remains up to the court.
