Lil Durk’s music is getting a major boost following his federal acquittal.
The Chicago rapper, born Durk Banks, is seeing renewed attention across his catalog after a Los Angeles jury found him not guilty on all five federal charges in his high-profile murder-for-hire case.
Fans have reportedly returned to Durk’s music in the days following the verdict, sending several of his older projects and songs back up the Apple Music charts.

The rapper was acquitted of all five charges tied to allegations that he orchestrated a 2022 murder-for-hire plot targeting rapper Quando Rondo. The shooting resulted in the death of Rondo’s cousin, Saviay’a Robinson.
Despite the acquittal in that case, Durk remains in federal custody and is scheduled to face a separate federal trial on Oct. 5 involving racketeering and firearms charges.
That legal situation has not stopped fans from revisiting his music.
Durk also recently used his platform to speak directly to young people about making different choices and refusing to let their surroundings determine their futures.
“To the youth, I need y’all to hear me,” he wrote.

He ended the message with another direct appeal to his young followers: “Choose your future. Choose your family. Growth. I’m standing with y’all. We’re moving forward with purpose.”
