Cardi B has had enough of the rumors about her and Offset.
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper shut down online speculation that she is secretly hooking up with her estranged husband, making it clear that she considers their romantic relationship completely finished.
The speculation surfaced after social media users pointed to posts from an account linked to model Melanie Jayda, who was previously seen with Offset in Dubai. The posts discussed women allegedly continuing to hook up with former partners behind the backs of new significant others.
Cardi, 33, responded with an emphatic denial on X before deleting the post.
“Never in your life never in THIS life,” Cardi wrote. “Mf’ers could go through that man text, phone, whatever… NEVER would you catch me doing that.”
She went on to insist that she does not flirt with Offset or leave any opening for a romantic reconciliation, adding that she would even welcome a private investigator checking her actions.
Cardi and Offset ended their six-year marriage after Cardi filed for divorce in July 2024. The former couple continues to share parenting responsibilities for their three children, Kulture, Wave and Blossom, but Cardi’s latest comments draw a sharp line between co-parenting and romance.
The rapper also has a 10-month-old son with NFL star Stefon Diggs, adding another chapter to her personal life since the split from Offset.
Meanwhile, Cardi appears to have another potential romance on the horizon.
She recently spoke with Vogue Arabia about her connection with 27-year-old Nigerian footballer Maduka Okoye, describing him as “very kind” and saying she hopes the public will see more of them together in the future.
For Cardi, however, the message about Offset was unmistakable: whatever their history may be, she says there is no secret romantic relationship happening behind the scenes.
