Celine Dion was clearly not ready for the night to end after her Paris concert — so she climbed onto the roof of a BMW and started singing barefoot for fans.
In the early morning hours of Saturday, the Canadian superstar was greeted by a crowd playing her song “Pour Que Tu M’aimes Encore,” which translates to “So That You’ll Love Me Again.” Dion responded by getting on top of the car and delivering a spontaneous two-minute rendition of the song.
The impromptu performance came after the second night of Dion’s Paris residency, giving fans gathered outside an unexpected encore far from the concert stage.
And she didn’t simply stand there and sing.
Dion was filmed lounging on the roof of the BMW, at one point lying on her back and later on her stomach as the music continued. The singer performed the entire moment barefoot while fans gathered around the vehicle.
The unusual scene follows an emotional return to live performances for Dion. Last weekend, she became overwhelmed during the opening show of her 26-show residency in Nanterre, a suburb of Paris, amid the response from fans.
Dion has previously spoken publicly about her health struggles with stiff person syndrome, which were documented in the 2024 film I Am: Celine Dion. Her return to the stage marks a significant period in her performance career following a six-year hiatus.
For the fans waiting outside after the concert, though, the night turned into something considerably more spontaneous: Celine Dion, barefoot on top of a BMW, singing one of her biggest French-language songs directly to the crowd.
And just like that, the concert had an unexpected second stage.
