Kai Cenat is taking legal steps against former friend and streaming partner Reggie Travers over allegations the streamer says are false.
According to a cease-and-desist letter obtained by TMZ, Kai’s legal team sent Travers a notice dated October 2, accusing him of publishing videos containing false and misleading statements about the popular streamer.
The letter specifically rejected allegations that Cenat had engaged in pedophilia or exchanged sex for promoting someone on his platform.
“We want to be unequivocal: the suggestion that Mr. Cenat has ever engaged in any form of pedophilia, or exchanged sex for platforming any person, is categorically false,” Kai’s legal team stated in the letter.
The lawyers also argued that Travers had not provided evidence supporting his claims and said the statements had harmed Cenat.

Kai Cenat’s Lawyers Demand Videos Be Removed
The letter went beyond disputing the allegations. Cenat’s legal team also claimed Travers had threatened to harm Kai or people associated with him.
“Your conduct has caused employees to fear for their safety and has disrupted business,” the letter stated.
Those assertions are allegations made by Cenat’s legal team; the letter alone does not establish that the alleged threats occurred.
Kai’s team demanded that Travers remove videos containing the statements they disputed. The notice represents a formal legal warning, but it is not, by itself, a court ruling or a finding of liability.
Reggie Travers Says He’s Ready to Fight
The dispute has also moved into a potential court battle.
TMZ reported that Travers shared what appeared to be court documents that day, seemingly relating to a petition for a temporary restraining order filed by Cenat. Travers said he was prepared to fight the case in court.
The precise status and terms of any court filing should be confirmed against the official records before being described as an issued restraining order.
The Dispute Involves Allegations About a Teen Streamer
The legal clash follows a public dispute in which Travers allegedly accused Cenat of grooming Rakai, a streamer who was 17 at the time, according to the report.
Rakai denied the allegations, while Cenat publicly pushed back against the claims and indicated that he was considering legal action.
The latest cease-and-desist letter marks a further escalation between the former associates. However, the underlying allegations remain disputed, and the available information does not establish them as fact.
TMZ said it had contacted Cenat for comment but had not received a response at the time of publication.
