Katt Williams is making headlines again, this time speaking out about an alleged encounter with disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein.
Williams Opens Up About Weinstein Meeting
During an appearance on This Past Weekend With Theo Von, the comedian claimed that Weinstein, who is currently incarcerated, once offered him “two actresses” in a meeting, treating them like “playing cards.”
Williams was responding to Von’s question about whether celebrities had to “compromise themselves sexually for entertainment.”
“Not entertainment, exclusively,” Williams replied. “Politics, religion, science—everywhere. Some of this is human nature, right? Because we listen and we don’t judge.”
The Shocking Power of Weinstein
Williams stated that as his fame grew, he witnessed more of the industry’s dark side.
“Most of the stuff I wouldn’t have believed until I had to get to a certain level to get to see the proof,” he said. “I was as shocked as anybody about how powerful Harvey Weinstein was at the time that I was meeting with him and how he could not be told no. He gets whatever he wants.”
He added, “I thought that didn’t apply to me because I don’t care about nothing. … And then he offered me two actresses like they were playing cards. I was like, what?”
Williams Claims Weinstein Made Another Offer
This isn’t the first time Williams has mentioned an interaction with Weinstein. During his viral interview on Club Shay Shay with Shannon Sharpe, Williams alleged that Weinstein once “offered to suck my penis in front of all my people at my agency.”
Additionally, Williams claimed Weinstein offered him $50 million under specific conditions.
Weinstein’s Legal Battles Continue
Weinstein, once one of Hollywood’s most powerful figures, was convicted of rape and sexual assault in Los Angeles in 2022 and sentenced to 16 years in prison. However, in April 2024, the New York Court of Appeals overturned his 2020 sexual assault conviction in New York, adding another controversial twist to his legal saga.
