Sean “Diddy” Combs’ blockbuster trial gripped the nation with salacious allegations, high-profile witnesses, and yes—1,000 bottles of baby oil. But now an alternate juror is speaking out, and he says prosecutors’ raunchy strategy may have backfired big time.

George, who asked that we not use his last name, wasn’t in the deliberation room but had a front-row seat for every bombshell moment in court. And according to him, much of what prosecutors presented only left jurors rolling their eyes instead of clutching their pearls.

🛢️ “All That Baby Oil Didn’t Prove a Thing”

George told The Pop Radar, “The baby oil stuff… I think they thought it made Diddy look like some freaky criminal mastermind. But to me, it felt like they were grasping at straws.”

ICYMI, prosecutors dramatically revealed that federal agents seized over 1,000 bottles of baby oil during their investigation. Their theory? The bottles were tied to Diddy’s alleged sex trafficking ring.

But defense attorney Marc Agnifilo ridiculed the claim during closing arguments, sarcastically telling the jury, “Our streets are so much safer now that the government spent all this time and money seizing baby oil.”

The comment got laughs in the courtroom—and George says that summed up how most jurors probably felt.

🎥 “Freak-Off” Videos Fell Flat

Prosecutors also played explicit videos showing Cassie Ventura and another woman, referred to only as “Jane,” rubbing baby oil over a sex worker. George admits the footage was shocking but said what mattered most was how it looked.

“Honestly, everything I saw seemed consensual. They didn’t show anything that screamed coercion,” he said.

Instead of painting Diddy as a predator, George thinks the graphic evidence only made the prosecution look desperate.

🚗 Molotov Cocktails and Kidnapping Claims? Jurors Weren’t Convinced

The government also tried to tie Diddy to a Molotov cocktail attack on Kid Cudi’s car and the alleged kidnapping of Capricorn Clark. But George isn’t buying it:

“There just wasn’t enough proof. It felt like they were trying to throw everything at the wall to see what stuck.”

Defense attorney Agnifilo even mocked the kidnapping charge, saying during closing arguments:

“If holding someone in a warehouse from 9 to 5 is kidnapping, then the jury are all kidnap victims because they’ve been held here for the same hours every day.”

⚖️ The Verdict: A Mixed Bag for Diddy

Last week, Diddy was found not guilty on the most serious charges—racketeering and sex trafficking—but guilty on two counts of transporting a sex worker across state lines.

Prosecutors are reportedly seeking a 4-year sentence, but under federal guidelines, insiders say Diddy could end up serving less than 2 years—possibly closer to 1.

🚨 Prosecution Embarrassed by Verdict

Legal experts are calling the outcome a “major loss” for federal prosecutors, who invested years building the case against the Bad Boy mogul.

George agrees: “They wanted to make an example out of him, but they overplayed their hand. The jury saw through it.”

👀 What’s Next for Diddy?

As Diddy awaits sentencing, his legal team is said to be preparing for an appeal. Meanwhile, fans and critics alike are flooding social media with hot takes.
