“The photos were posted prematurely. If you know Instagram well, you know that you can schedule posts. In the 24-hour clock system, 1700 Hours is 5 PM, and 5 O’clock in the morning is also an option. I thought I had scheduled it for 1700 Hours in the evening, but we were shocked to find the images live in the morning.”
Her mother, Betty Nakibuuka, a veteran gospel singer, had earlier stated that the couple had planned to reveal the news at a later time but were taken by surprise when the photos went public ahead of schedule.
Baby Gloria’s Reaction to the Unexpected Reveal
Despite the mix-up, Baby Gloria revealed that she and her fiancé were fully prepared for the engagement announcement and had already crafted captions for the posts.
“Even the captions had been written while scheduling, so that’s what my mother meant. But we were ready for everything.”
