Bam Margera to Pay $2.5K/Month Child Support After Messy Split

Bam Margera has officially agreed to pay $2,500 per month in child support to his estranged wife, Nikki Boyd, TMZ has confirmed. The payments are set to begin January 1, 2026, for the couple’s 8-year-old son, Phoenix, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.

    Lower Amount Than Initial Request

Originally, Nikki had requested $15,000 per month, citing Bam’s reported net worth of $55 million. However, the two parties ultimately reached a much lower, negotiated amount of $2,500 per month.

The court papers also outline that Nikki will provide and maintain Phoenix’s healthcare coverage, ensuring the child’s medical needs are met despite the ongoing family legal issues.

    Messy Divorce Timeline

The aftermath of Bam and Nikki’s split has been fraught with complications and public disputes. Bam previously claimed their 2013 wedding in Iceland wasn’t even legally binding, as neither he nor Nikki were Icelandic residents, and they never filed official paperwork in the U.S.

Substance issues also made the situation more challenging. Nikki and her legal team expressed concern over Bam’s alcohol use, arguing that his contact with Phoenix should be monitored to ensure the child’s safety.

Bam Claims Sobriety Thanks to New Wife

Bam, who recently tied the knot with Dannii Marie in 2024, says his sobriety is thanks to his new wife. He told TMZ that Dannii “laid down the law,” explaining that drinking alcohol would be treated the same as infidelity.

“Dannii made it clear that if I drank, it was basically cheating,” Bam said, crediting her for keeping him on track.

The 2024 wedding marks a fresh start for Bam, who hopes to focus on family stability while maintaining his sobriety.

    What This Means for Phoenix

With the child support agreement in place, Bam and Nikki have a clear framework to ensure Phoenix’s needs are met, including both financial support and healthcare coverage. While the split has been public and messy, the agreement signals a step toward stability for the 8-year-old.

    Why Fans Are Watching

Fans have followed Bam’s personal life for years, from his ‘Jackass’ days to tumultuous relationships and struggles with alcohol. This latest development adds another chapter to a very public saga: sobriety, new marriage, and parenting responsibilities.

Bam’s journey from rock-star antics to sober family man highlights the ongoing balancing act many celebrities face between personal accountability and public scrutiny.
