⚡ Dawn Richard Reacts: “Diddy’s Verdict Is a Disappointment”

Dawn Richard is making it clear — she’s far from satisfied with the outcome of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal trial.

In a statement delivered through her attorney, Lisa Bloom, Dawn described the 2-count conviction as a “disappointment,” emphasizing that the criminal verdict is just one part of a much bigger legal battle.

“The charges in the federal criminal trial differ significantly from the civil claims we’ve filed,” Bloom said. “We will continue to aggressively fight our case until we obtain full and complete justice for Dawn.”

???? The Civil Case Against Diddy

Back in September 2024, Dawn filed a civil lawsuit accusing Diddy of:

    • Sexual assault and battery
    • Deprivation of food and sleep during their time together on MTV’s Making The Band

The lawsuit also alleges she witnessed Diddy physically abuse Cassie Ventura, his ex-girlfriend.

    ????️ Dawn’s Testimony in Diddy’s Trial

During the trial in May 2025, Dawn Richard gave harrowing testimony:

    • She said she saw Diddy frequently attack Cassie — punching, choking, slapping, and even kicking her in the stomach.
    • Dawn described a shocking moment where Diddy allegedly hit Cassie over the head with a skillet full of eggs.

Her testimony was a major emotional highlight of the trial and brought a personal face to the accusations of abuse surrounding Diddy.

    ⚖️ The Criminal Trial Verdict

The jury returned a mixed verdict Wednesday morning:

✅ Diddy was found guilty on 2 counts of transporting Cassie and another woman, “Jane,” for prostitution (Mann Act charges).

❌ He was acquitted on 2 counts of sex trafficking and 1 count of racketeering.

    ????️ Legal Storm Still Brewing

While the criminal case concluded with a partial conviction, Diddy still faces multiple civil lawsuits, including Dawn’s ongoing claims.

“This isn’t the end for Diddy,” Bloom told TPR. “Our pursuit of justice for Dawn and the other victims continues unabated.”

???? Social Media Reacts to Dawn’s Statement

Fans praised Dawn for her courage and resilience:

????️ “Dawn’s bravery in speaking out is inspiring. Justice is far from over.”
????️ “The criminal verdict doesn’t erase the pain these women endured.”
????️ “Hope Dawn wins big in her civil case.”

    ???? What’s Next for Diddy?

Diddy now faces sentencing on the 2 convictions and must also battle multiple civil suits, including:

    • Dawn Richard’s sexual assault and battery case
    • Additional claims from Cassie and other accusers

Legal experts predict a tough road ahead for the music mogul.

    ???? What Are Your Thoughts?

Do you think Dawn Richard’s civil case will lead to full justice? How will this affect Diddy’s legacy?
