Diddy’s Ex-Assistant Testifies: “I Was Young and Manipulated”

The federal trial of music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs continued Thursday with powerful and emotional testimony from a former personal assistant identified only as Mia. Her account painted a troubling picture of a life entangled in manipulation, blurred power dynamics, and psychological trauma.

Taking the witness stand for the second day, Mia described her years working under Combs as emotionally suffocating — a dynamic she said was built on fear, control, and conditional validation.

“I was young and manipulated,” she stated, revealing the deep psychological scars that still affect her daily life.

A Toxic Cycle of Luxury and Control

Mia testified that Diddy routinely used professional opportunities as a means of control — including a promising ABC series that never aired. She said her workplace experience alternated between lavish experiences and silent coercion, where success and safety felt dependent on total obedience.

“Approval had to be earned,” Mia told the court. “Dissent felt dangerous.”

She also shared that she now suffers from complex PTSD, stating that even ordinary social interactions can trigger panic due to the emotional toll of her time with Diddy.

“I would have to leave work because I’d be triggered by very normal situations.”

    Echoes of Cassie Ventura’s Allegations

Mia’s testimony echoed claims made earlier by Deonte Nash, a former stylist and close friend of Cassie Ventura, who previously accused Diddy of extreme control over her life.

Together, their testimonies form a disturbing narrative of long-term emotional abuse, painting Combs as a figure who allegedly manipulated those closest to him while maintaining a powerful public image.

Diddy, 55, has pleaded not guilty to multiple charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering.

    Defense Pushes Back on Credibility

Defense attorney Brian Steel challenged Mia’s credibility during cross-examination, referencing social media posts and video clips that appeared to show her enjoying time around Diddy — including a video of her celebrating his birthday.

Steel implied that her public behavior contradicted her claims of abuse, but the presiding judge ruled the footage largely irrelevant, allowing the trial to proceed.

A Case That Could Reshape a Legacy

As the trial unfolds, the testimonies of individuals like Mia and Nash are putting Combs’ legacy under scrutiny. Once celebrated for his cultural influence and business empire, Diddy now faces severe allegations that could permanently change public perception.

The trial continues in federal court, with more witnesses expected to come forward in the coming days.
