Diddy’s Lawyer Slams Media Over ‘Freak-Offs’ Allegations and Calls Out Civil Attorneys for Extortion

Diddy‘s lawyer, Teny Geragos, is coming out strong in defense of the hip-hop mogul, slamming media coverage and dismissing the allegations of celebrities being caught on video in “Freak-Offs” at Diddy’s homes. In a fiery appearance on TMZ‘s “2 Angry Men” podcast, Geragos made it clear that none of the tapes seized by federal agents during raids on Diddy’s properties contain any celebrity footage.

No Celebrities Involved in Seized Tapes, Says Diddy’s Lawyer

Geragos emphatically stated that the claims linking Diddy to illicit activities involving celebrities are completely false. She also refuted claims that the criminal charges against Diddy involve minors, a narrative that has gained traction in the media. According to Geragos, the media has fundamentally misunderstood and misrepresented the case, leading to a wave of misinformation.

Teny Geragos Criticizes Civil Lawyers, Particularly Tony Buzbee

A key point of Geragos’ defense was her criticism of attorney Tony Buzbee, who has filed several civil cases against Diddy. Geragos didn’t hold back, accusing Buzbee of “ambulance chasing” during his first news conference by placing a 1-800 number behind him to recruit clients. She went further, claiming that Buzbee had openly threatened to use Diddy as leverage to force other celebrities into paying settlements out of fear of public lawsuits.

    Defamation Lawsuits in the Works

Geragos made it clear that Diddy and his legal team are fighting back against what they perceive as baseless defamation. She hinted at upcoming defamation lawsuits to combat the spread of unfounded allegations and hold those responsible accountable for spreading false information.

    Hollywood’s Silence on the Issue

During the podcast, Harvey and Mark Geragos pressed Teny on why Hollywood has remained notably silent about Diddy’s legal troubles. Geragos suggested that the lack of support for Diddy may be due to fear of Buzbee’s tactics, which include leveraging public lawsuits to pressure celebrities into settlements.

    The Menendez Case Update

In addition to the Diddy case, the Geragos family also discussed the latest developments in the high-profile Menendez brothers case, following Erik and Lyle Menendez’s appearance on the “2 Angry Men” podcast the previous week.
