Renowned Ugandan singer and songwriter Dokta Brain has shared a shocking revelation about experiencing imprisonment for the first time in his life.

During an exclusive interview on Galaxy TV, Dokta Brain recounted how a financial dispute with a longtime friend led to his unexpected arrest.

According to the singer, he had borrowed money from a close associate but later failed to repay it on time. The situation escalated when the friend grew impatient, prompting Dokta Brain to confront him at his residence in frustration. In the heat of the moment, he confiscated some of his friend’s belongings as leverage.

However, matters took a turn for the worse when the friend involved the police. Worse still, his friend’s sister reportedly collaborated in framing him, accusing him of stealing from her.

As a result, Dokta Brain was arrested and detained at the police station. With no means to immediately settle the UGX 70,000 (approximately $18) claim for the disputed property, he found himself spending time behind bars.

Despite the ordeal, Dokta Brain remains reflective about the incident, using it as a lesson in managing financial disputes and personal relationships.
