Adult film performer Drake Von, whose real name is Dawson Bacon, has had all five charges in his domestic violence case dismissed after prosecutors requested the move and a judge approved it, according to court documents obtained by TMZ. The case is now closed, and the court has canceled the no-contact order previously imposed against him.
The dismissal covers charges including robbery, domestic battery by strangulation, coercion constituting domestic violence, and two counts of domestic battery. According to the court records cited by TMZ, prosecutors filed a motion to dismiss last week, and Von’s defense attorney did not object.
Von welcomed the outcome, maintaining that he had denied the allegations from the beginning.
“The court system did well, all my charges were dropped and dismissed. I’m grateful that this matter has concluded. I knew I was innocent from the start,” Von told TMZ.
He also addressed people who had criticized him during the case, saying he hoped to move forward with his life now that the proceedings had ended.
“I feel bad for those who wished to see me behind bars. They need to do better and find peace within themselves. I hope I can get my life back and now and move forward,” he said.
The allegations that led to Von’s arrest
Von was arrested in Las Vegas in June 2026 following allegations involving his female partner. Police alleged that he attempted to strangle her, leading to the criminal case.
Body camera footage subsequently obtained by TMZ showed the accuser speaking to officers about the alleged incident. According to the report, she told police she had been unable to breathe and briefly lost consciousness.
Those statements formed part of the allegations against Von, which he denied. He previously told TMZ that he expected the charges to be dropped, describing the situation as a misunderstanding and a publicity stunt.
The dismissal means the five charges in this case will no longer proceed. However, it does not establish from the supplied information why prosecutors sought dismissal, and the court outcome should not be confused with a trial verdict.

A separate DUI case remains pending
Although the domestic violence case is closed, Von still faces a separate legal matter stemming from a June arrest.
According to the supplied report, his DUI case remains active and pending. The dismissal of the five charges in the domestic violence case does not resolve that separate proceeding.
For Von, the latest ruling closes one legal chapter. The outstanding DUI case means his legal situation is not entirely settled.
