Boxing superstar Gervonta “Tank” Davis is back in the headlines—and not for his knockout punches in the ring.
The undefeated fighter, 30, was arrested early Friday morning in connection with an alleged assault on his ex-girlfriend during a heated Father’s Day confrontation.
According to police in Doral, Florida, Davis faces a battery charge stemming from a disturbing incident outside his former partner’s home on the night of June 15.
Alleged Confrontation Turns Physical
Per the arrest report, Davis arrived at his ex-girlfriend’s Doral residence to pick up their two young children. The pair reportedly share a tumultuous four-year relationship that ended in separation.

When the woman’s mother rushed outside, she found her daughter crying and visibly shaken as the argument with Davis continued.
Police say the mother recorded part of the confrontation, capturing Davis throwing a small box at the victim in a fit of anger.
Arrest and Detention
Davis, a Coral Springs resident, was arrested in nearby Miami Beach before being transferred to the Doral Police Department for processing.
At the station, Davis allegedly refused to sign or complete a Miranda rights acknowledgment form. He was later transported to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, where he remained in custody Friday morning.
