Kalifah AgaNaga Stays Committed to Music While Entering Politics
Renowned Ugandan musician Kalifah AgaNaga has reassured his fans and followers that he will not abandon his music career, even as he steps into the political arena. Kalifah, who is now officially nominated as the flag bearer for the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) party in the Kawempe North by-election, scheduled for March 13, 2025, assures his supporters that his musical journey won’t be left behind. The by-election is being held to fill the vacant seat following the death of the late Muhammad Ssegirinya.
“I’ll keep doing music despite joining politics. Music made me, and I cannot abandon it just because of politics. I am known everywhere because of music, and have traveled the country and the world,” Kalifah remarked, affirming that his artistic passion remains integral to his identity.
