LeBron & Bronny James Deny Allegations in 2024 Lawsuit Over Alleged Car Crash

LeBron James and his son, Bronny James, are pushing back against claims that they were responsible for a 2022 car accident that allegedly caused injuries and vehicle damage. The NBA superstar and his son firmly denied all accusations in newly filed legal documents obtained by TMZ Sports.

    The Lawsuit & Allegations

The lawsuit was filed on October 22, 2024, in Los Angeles County by two women, April Almanza Lopez and Kiara Rae McGillen. According to the complaint, the plaintiffs claim that LeBron and Bronny were responsible for a car crash on November 13, 2022, which resulted in physical injuries requiring medical attention.

Additionally, the women allege that their vehicle sustained significant damage and lost value due to the accident.

    LeBron & Bronny’s Response

In their official response, LeBron and Bronny denied “each and every allegation contained in the complaint.” They are challenging the claims and appear ready to defend themselves in court.

The lawsuit was filed on the same day that LeBron and Bronny made history by sharing the court together in an NBA regular-season game. Despite the legal situation, LeBron didn’t let it overshadow the milestone moment, later expressing his joy by writing, “NEVER FORGET THAT MOMENT FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE” after securing a 110-103 victory.

    What’s Next?

With the James family now formally disputing the claims, the legal battle is expected to continue. Whether this lawsuit will proceed to trial or be resolved through an out-of-court settlement remains to be seen.

    Stay tuned for further updates.
