Lil Scrappy can keep his summer tour rolling — no legal drama will hold him back following the onstage altercation at his recent concert in Ohio.
TMZ Hip Hop spoke with Columbus Police Sgt. James K. Fuqua, who confirmed that the man who was struck during Lil Scrappy’s show was not attacked by officers, but rather by a member of the rapper’s private security team.
The incident occurred Saturday night at Columbus Commons, when a fan attempted to storm the stage without permission. According to officials, the man was trespassing, as he did not have authorization to access that section of the venue.
No Charges — Just a Noogie
Despite online rumors, the fan is alive — but definitely left with more than just a bruised ego. Sgt. Fuqua says the man suffered a head injury after hitting the ground and was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
Police conducted a thorough investigation and concluded that no criminal charges will be filed in connection with the incident.
Scrappy’s Tour Marches On
Fans can catch Lil Scrappy live on his ongoing tour, with upcoming shows scheduled in Sioux City, Atlanta, and even Dubai. He’s also appearing on Season 13 of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.”
Let this be a reminder: enjoy the show from your seat — not the stage.
🕺🏾 Crank it up, Scrappy — the summer’s still yours!
