On Friday, October 10, coinciding with World Mental Health Day, Megan Thee Stallion was honored with The Trevor Project’s Mental Health Champion of the Year Award.

“I’m honored to receive this year’s Mental Health Champion award from The Trevor Project,” Megan shared in a statement. “My goal has always been to use my platform to help break stigmas around mental health and provide resources for those seeking safe spaces to have honest and heartfelt conversations.”

Past recipients of the award include powerhouse artists Janelle Monáe and Lil Nas X, putting Megan in prestigious company as she continues her advocacy for mental wellness.

Supporting LGBTQ+ Youth Through Awareness and Empathy

The Trevor Project, according to its website, is a non-profit suicide prevention organization that provides crisis support services, research, and advocacy for LGBTQ+ youth. Megan emphasized the universal importance of mental health:

“Mental health impacts all of us, so it’s important to lead with love and empathy. I’m grateful for organizations like The Trevor Project that are committed to spreading awareness and supporting our LGBTQ+ youth in powerful ways.”

Her recognition is yet another example of how the rapper is using her platform to make a positive difference beyond music—bringing visibility to issues that often go overlooked in both the entertainment industry and everyday life.

Legal Victory: Megan Thee Stallion Scores Against Blogger Milagro Gramz

While Megan was celebrating her mental health recognition, her legal battle with blogger Milagro Gramz reached another milestone. On Thursday, October 9, Judge Lisette M. Reid ruled against Gramz after uncovering the deletion of critical evidence.

Court documents reveal that Gramz, whose real name is Milagro Elizabeth Cooper, deleted “thousands of text messages” from her phone despite prior instructions to preserve all communications relevant to the lawsuit. Gramz even went as far as removing WhatsApp from her device, which likely contained key conversations.

Because these messages can no longer be recovered, the court ruled that jurors can assume the deleted content would have harmed Gramz’s defense—a significant win for Megan’s legal team.

“This ruling highlights the importance of accountability when it comes to preserving evidence,” said a legal insider familiar with the case.

    Megan Thee Stallion’s Ongoing Impact

From advocacy to legal victories, Megan Thee Stallion continues to make headlines for both her music and her influence outside the studio. Her recognition from The Trevor Project underscores her commitment to mental health awareness, while her courtroom success demonstrates her determination to protect her reputation.

Fans have taken to social media to celebrate both milestones, praising Megan not only as a musical icon but as a role model for resilience, advocacy, and empowerment.

    What’s Next?

With awards, activism, and legal wins piling up, Megan Thee Stallion shows no signs of slowing down. She’s proving that artists can leverage fame for good, fight for justice, and spark meaningful conversations about mental health and LGBTQ+ advocacy—all while dominating the music world.
