Megan Thee Stallion’s Coachella 2025 Set Stirs Up Drama with Bigfoot Moment and Mic Cut

Megan Thee Stallion set the Coachella 2025 stage ablaze with a fiery performance, but it wasn’t just the music that had fans buzzing. During her high-energy Sunday night set, Megan delivered plenty of surprises, including bringing out powerhouse guest stars Queen Latifah, Ciara, and Victoria Monét. However, it was the appearance of a mysterious dancer in a Bigfoot costume that really set the internet on fire.

Fans immediately began speculating that Megan’s choice to feature the Bigfoot dancer was a playful jab at Nicki Minaj, referencing her 2024 diss track “Big Foot,” which targeted Megan during their ongoing feud. Many took to social media to discuss whether this was a bold statement from Megan or just an attempt to keep the drama alive.

A Nod to the Feud with Nicki Minaj?

While some saw the Bigfoot stunt as a clever and entertaining reference to their past issues, others questioned the timing. The ongoing tension between Megan and Nicki dates back to 2020, when Megan’s collaboration with Cardi B on “WAP” reportedly strained her relationship with Nicki Minaj, leading to Nicki unfollowing her on social media. In 2024, the feud reignited when Megan dropped a diss track, “Hiss,” which took aim at Nicki, only for Nicki to fire back with “Big Foot.”

Given that the feud had been simmering for over a year, some fans felt that Megan’s Coachella stunt felt a bit stale, with critics suggesting that addressing the feud sooner would have made a stronger impact. However, supporters of Megan argued that her presence on stage, the surprise guest appearances, and her dynamic performance were enough to overshadow any feud-related drama.

    The Set Cut Short

Just as the Coachella set seemed to be hitting its peak, Megan’s performance took an unexpected turn when her mic was abruptly cut during “Mamushi.” Frustrated but undeterred, Megan responded to the technical glitch with a defiant shout to the crowd, saying, “Don’t do the Hotties like that!” The crowd rallied behind her, chanting her name as she continued to dance through the silence, turning the awkward moment into a powerful display of resilience.

    The Ongoing Drama

This isn’t the first time Megan has found herself embroiled in controversy during a high-profile performance. The rapper has faced ongoing tensions with several industry figures, but her boldness on stage and refusal to back down in the face of adversity continue to win her fans.

While some may feel that the Bigfoot moment was a playful, yet outdated, nod to the past, others believe Megan’s ability to command attention and showcase her stage presence is what truly makes her stand out.

As for the future of her feud with Nicki Minaj, it remains to be seen whether the two will ever reconcile or if their rivalry will continue to fuel their respective careers. One thing is clear: Megan Thee Stallion is not backing down anytime soon.
