Law enforcement continues the manhunt for the person responsible for the fatal shooting of Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University, and new footage circulating online may provide critical insight into the suspect’s movements.

The video, which has quickly gone viral on social media, captures the chaotic moments immediately after Kirk was shot during a campus Q&A in Orem, Utah. Crowds can be seen scrambling for safety as the conservative activist falls to the ground.

In the far background, atop a campus building, a figure appears to dash away from the scene, possibly giving authorities a rare vantage point of the shooter’s escape.

    Campus Spokesperson Confirms Shooter Position

While the moment is fleeting, university officials confirmed that the shooter fired from a roof roughly 200 yards away from where Kirk was speaking.

A spokesperson said, “It’s a brief but telling glimpse — the shape definitely looks like a person running across the roof.”

This new footage could be a key piece of evidence as investigators continue piecing together exactly how the attack unfolded and identifying the suspect.

    The Fatal Shooting

As previously reported, Charlie Kirk was struck in the neck while addressing a crowd of students and attendees. The video shows the bullet hitting Kirk, forcing his head back violently before he began bleeding from the wound.

Emergency responders rushed him to a local hospital, but tragically, doctors were unable to save his life. President Donald Trump confirmed Kirk’s death at approximately 1:40 PM PT.

    National and Bipartisan Outrage

The incident has sparked widespread condemnation from politicians across the political spectrum. Figures like California Governor Gavin Newsom, former Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Senator Mike Lee have all publicly denounced the attack and called for action against political violence.

The tragedy has once again ignited conversations about campus security, political discourse, and the rising dangers faced by public figures, especially those traveling for speaking engagements.
