Selena Gomez’s “12 Days of Really Rare Stuff” giveaway took an unexpected turn when a glitch on her website allowed multiple fans to purchase the iconic diamond “B” ring she wore when going public with Benny Blanco.
A $3,000 Ring for Just $12?
As part of her promo for the upcoming album I Said I Love You First, Selena is selling personal sentimental items each day. Fans were shocked when they saw the “B” ring—a custom Jacquie Aiche design reportedly worth over $3,000—available for just $12.
Naturally, several lucky fans rushed to add it to their cart and check out, only to realize that more than one person had successfully bought it.
Website Glitch Causes Confusion
A source close to Selena confirmed to TMZ that only one fan actually received the real ring, and the rest were sold due to a technical error.
The record label quickly reached out to the affected fans, apologizing for the mix-up and promising to send them “fun items” as compensation.
