Chicago O’Hare International Airport was the scene of a tarmac scare on Friday when two United Airlines jets collided — but thankfully, no one was hurt.

Photos shared on X show the planes standing side by side after the minor collision, prompting a flurry of online discussion about airline safety.

    How the Collision Happened

One of the planes, carrying 113 passengers and 5 crew members, was taxiing to a gate after landing when its wing made contact with the wing of another parked aircraft, which had no passengers on board.

A United Airlines representative confirmed to WGN News that all passengers on the arriving flight exited safely and that no injuries were reported.
