Coi Leray says she’s single and has no interest in dating right now, but Justin LaBoy appears to disagree with the rapper’s relationship declaration.
The 29-year-old artist sparked speculation about a possible split after posting a blunt message on X, writing, “Single and not looking for anything. This world is just too cold.”
Although Leray did not mention LaBoy by name, the post quickly raised questions about the status of their relationship. LaBoy responded on Instagram with a statement suggesting the two were still together.
“She’s definitely gonna get one of y’all shot. She is not single,” the media personality and podcast host wrote.
His response appeared to contradict Leray’s public declaration, creating uncertainty about where the couple stands. Neither has publicly clarified the conflicting statements in the information available.
The exchange comes after the pair had previously made their romance visible on social media and through LaBoy’s podcast.
Their relationship first attracted attention in September 2025, when LaBoy shared a photograph of Leray on Instagram with the caption, “My Coi.”
That same month, Leray appeared on his show, #Respectfully: The Justin LaBoy Show, where she hinted at their connection.
By January, LaBoy was addressing breakup speculation by sharing a photograph of the pair kissing. He accompanied the image with the declaration, “She is my life.”
The couple also appeared together in a Valentine’s Day podcast episode in February, discussing relationship boundaries and whether liking another woman’s social media posts could constitute cheating.
Their latest exchange presents a different picture from those earlier public displays of affection, although the conflicting posts alone do not establish that the relationship has ended.
Leray has previously spoken about finding love again after her turbulent relationship with rapper Trippie Redd.
During an April appearance on Keke Palmer’s podcast, Baby, This Is Keke Palmer, the rapper said another relationship was not initially part of her plans.
Leray and Trippie Redd share a daughter, Miyoko, who was born on June 14, 2025. The former couple rekindled their relationship in August 2024 after first dating in 2019, but their reconciliation ended amid public allegations of infidelity.
Meanwhile, Leray continues to release music. Her latest single, “Nothing Into Something,” arrived on September 18.
For now, the rapper’s declaration and LaBoy’s response leave one question unanswered: Are they still together, or are the two sharing very different perspectives on their relationship status? Neither has publicly provided a definitive explanation.
