Dance Mamweta Aims for $20,000 Prize in Ciara’s Dance Icon Competition – Calls for Fan Support

Renowned Ugandan solo dance artist, Dance Mamweta, is setting her sights on winning the grand cash prize of up to $20,000 in the highly competitive Ciara-owned Dance Icon competition.

The celebrated dancer and influencer, whose real name is Careen Mamweta, has gained recognition for her dynamic performances, working with both local and international stars while featuring in numerous music videos. Following her nomination for the competition, Mamweta couldn’t hide her excitement, describing it as a significant milestone in her career.

Dance Icon Competition: A Gateway to Global Stardom

The Dance Icon competition, spearheaded by Grammy-winning artist Ciara and her renowned choreographer Jamaican Craft, aims to identify and elevate the most talented dancers across the globe. The contest seeks to select the top eight dancers, who will be flown to Phoenix, USA, to compete in the grand talent showcase, where Ciara and Jamaican Craft will serve as the judges.

    A Career-Changing Opportunity

In an exclusive interview with Mbu, Mamweta expressed her enthusiasm about the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to challenge for a spot among the final eight and represent Uganda on an international stage.

“This is a huge platform for me. Competing in the Dance Icon contest could take my career to the next level. I’m ready to prove that I belong on that stage with the world’s best.”

    A Call for Fan Support

To secure a place in the next round, Mamweta needs votes from her supporters. She has urged fans, dance enthusiasts, and the Ugandan entertainment community to rally behind her and help push her dream forward.

“I need all the support I can get. This is not just about me, it’s about representing Uganda in the global dance scene. Every vote counts!”

    A Shot at Global Stardom

The winner of the Dance Icon competition will not only walk away with the $20,000 grand prize, but they will also get a chance to feature in Ciara’s upcoming music video. Such an opportunity could propel Mamweta’s career to even greater heights, opening doors to international collaborations, major dance gigs, and global recognition.

    What’s Next?

As the competition intensifies, Dance Mamweta remains focused on perfecting her craft, ready to showcase her exceptional talent on a global stage. With the right support and enough votes, she stands a strong chance of making it to the final eight and beyond.
